Omar Al Abdulhadi
Omar Al Abdulhadi is an indie filmmaker and writer based in Eastern Saudi Arabia.
Raised in the Kingdom—a diverse and culturally rich country that, at the time, had no cinema theaters. Omar grew up developing a deep appreciation for storytelling, visual language, and the evolving landscape of Saudi arts and culture.
Omar has participated in industry initiatives such as the 48-Hour Challenge at the Red Sea International Film Festival, and has worked with the Saudi Film Festival, in addition to contributing to films that premiered at regional film festivals.
An alumnus of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Omar holds a bachelor’s degree in financial management. He also earned a filmmaking certificate from the National Film and Television School, Sponserd by NEOM, and is an alumni of MBC Academy and 32 Stage.
